Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and organized Medical Store Keeper to manage inventory, support sales, and ensure smooth operations at our medical store. The ideal candidate will have experience in stock management, customer service, and possess knowledge of pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records, monitor inventory levels, and ensure timely restocking of medicines and supplies.
  • Order Processing: Receive orders, verify items with invoices, and ensure accurate shelving.
  • Customer Assistance: Provide assistance to customers, answer inquiries about medicines, and recommend products under the guidance of pharmacists.
  • Billing and Payments: Handle POS billing, process payments, and manage cash transactions efficiently.
  • Expiry Management: Monitor expiry dates of products and safely dispose of expired items following store policies.
  • Display and Organization: Keep the store neat and organized, display medicines and supplies clearly, and label products accurately.
  • Compliance: Follow all medical regulations, store policies, and safety standards to ensure a clean, organized, and legally compliant work environment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain daily records of sales, inventory changes, and any discrepancies in stock.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Minimum 12th grade; a diploma in pharmacy or experience in a medical store is preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or retail (experience in medical stores is a plus).
  • Knowledge of Pharmaceuticals: Basic understanding of common medicines, brands, and uses.
  • Computer Skills: Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills for inventory management.
  • Attention to Detail: Accurate in record-keeping and inventory management.
