Job Summary:
The Purchase Executive/Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for the company’s pharma products. This includes strategic sourcing, negotiation, vendor management, and inventory control. The role involves ensuring cost-effective purchases, maintaining high-quality standards, and building strong supplier partnerships to support the company’s growth and franchise network.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Purchasing & Distribution: Oversee the procurement process for buying, selling, and distributing company products, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery.
- Bulk Pharma Procurement: Procure pharmaceutical products in large volumes while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the franchise development and support teams to align purchasing strategies with company goals.
- Negotiations: Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with pharma companies and suppliers to achieve the best pricing and credit terms for bulk purchases.
- Supplier Sourcing & Management: Identify and onboard high-quality, cost-effective, and reliable suppliers for pharma products; manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality and supply.
- Vendor Management: Onboard new vendors, manage vendor performance, and establish strong partnerships for long-term collaboration.
- Inventory Control: Manage high inventory levels and ensure the availability of ready-to-sell products to meet demand.
- Procurement Process Management: Oversee the selection of vendors, resolve procurement-related issues, and ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, Pharmacy Distribution, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
